Those Blasted Mobile Phone Bills
I’m sure most of us know that using the mobile phone abroad can cost a pretty penny. Not only do you get charged extortionate rates for making calls you pay to receive them as well. Even after the intervention of the European communications regulator, making calls in Europe can cost up to 35p per minute and receiving calls up to 18p per minute.
The money saving tip for today is to look at two websites that can reduce your mobile phone calls whilst in Europe. Firstly www.orange.co.uk/frequent_traveller/ can save 50% off of calls for just £2.00 a month and you can always cancel after one month. The O2 site www.o2international.co.uk/callingfromoverseas/myeurope_extra.aspx will allow outgoing calls at 25p and receive calls for free in Europe. The draw back with this one is the monthly cost of £10.00.
There will be some more saving money tips for your holidays coming up soon. If you have any helpful hints to reduce the cost of holidays please add your comments.
